Spectacular match at the start, learn the complete calendar of the First

Today, the calendar of the new football edition 2024/2025 of the "First Category" championship was revealed in the premises of the conference hall in the "House of Football".

Present at the draw were representatives of the media and representatives of the 12 participating clubs of this edition, who learned from the goggles the opponents they will face during this season in 33 weeks, while the draw was made by the head of the Competition Department in the AFL , Marjus Sulejmani.

The first week of the "First Category" championship, August 24, 2024:

Kukësi - Erzeni

Ensign – Burreli

Vora - Apollonia

Korabi – Lushnja

Pogradeci – Kastrioti

Valbona – Besa

Just like the previous edition, in this new football season, which will start on August 24, 2024 and is scheduled to end on April 19, 2025, 12 teams will participate that will compete in three stages and will be played in total 33 weeks.

The following teams will participate in the "First Category" championship: KF Erzeni, FK Kukësi, KS Kastrioti, Flamurtari FC, Pogradeci, KS Korabi, FK Apolonia, Valbona, FC Besa, FC Lushnja, KF Burreli, Vora.
These 12 teams will play the first 2 phases with a round-trip system, while the matches of the third phase will take place according to the scheme determined by the Competition Department in the AFL.

After the completion of the 3 stages, the teams ranked in the first and second place are automatically promoted to the "Abyssnet Superiore" category, while the teams ranked from the 3rd to the 6th place will be part of the play-off stage for determine the team that will play the team ranked eighth in Abissnet Superiore.
