Winning the European Championship, the Spaniards fill the "coffers".

Spain managed to win the 2024 European Championship, but in addition to the big trophy, the Iberian national team has also received a large amount of money.

Each national team won 9.25 million euros just by qualifying for Euro 2024. Each group stage win at the tournament in Germany was worth one million euros and a draw half a million euros. The victory in the 1/8 stage was 1.5 million euros, in the quarter-finals 2.5 million euros and in the semi-finals 4 million euros.

The defeated finalist received 5 million euros, while the winner received 8 million euros. Thus, the maximum amount won by the new European champion is 28.25 million euros, in total.

Before the start of the competition, the Spanish Federation and the footballers agreed that 30 percent of the amount would go to the players of the Spanish national team, and in case of winning the European Championship, it was agreed that the footballers would receive 40 percent of the income fund.

In the end, each Iberian player and members of the coaching staff received 400,000 euros each. Part of the bonus should be distributed to the employees who accompanied the Spanish team during the competition.

We remind you that Spain has been declared European champion for the fourth time, after defeating England in the grand final, with a score of 2-1. "Red Fury" thus became the team with the most trophies in Europe with four championship titles, leaving behind Germany with three trophies.
