Mediat iraniane theksojnë se klubi nga Teherani ka marrë përsipër një rrezik financiar të madh, pasi sulmuesi i kombëtares shqiptare do të përfitojë 2.6 milionë dollarë për dy sezone, ose 1.3 milionë në vit, pa tatim.

Ky kontrast është i madh krahasuar me pagat mesatare në Iran. Përveç aspektit financiar, diskutimet lidhen edhe me karakterin e futbollistit, pasi ai ka pasur probleme disiplinore gjatë qëndrimit në Korenë e Jugut.
