The death of Teodor Vasos, Duka: A true icon of the national team, Albanian football has lost a legend

The president of the Albanian Football Federation, Armand Duka, has reacted to the death of the icon of Albanian football, Teodor Vaso.

The number 1 of football in the country expresses his condolences through a post on his official profile on social networks.

"Albanian football lost a legend today. Teodor Vaso, a true icon of the National Team in the 60s and 70s and an emblematic figure for the Skenderbeu, Partizan and 17 Novorti clubs, has passed away.

Unsurpassed defender, model footballer and man with great contributions to Albanian football, especially Korçar. He wrote his name in golden letters in history.

Sincere condolences to Vaso's family, friends and relatives. His memory will remain unforgettable. Rest in peace Teodor Vaso!"
