Only the signature is missing, the future of coach Inzaghi is revealed

Inter are preparing for crucial weeks this season, in what looks like a hellish schedule. The Blues will first face Roma to consolidate their lead over Napoli in Serie A, while they then challenge Barcelona in a duel that will decide their fate in the Champions League.

At the end of the season, there will be an assessment of the team's performance, but one thing is already certain. Simone Inzaghi's fate does not depend on these results.

The club has decided to continue its cooperation with the Italian coach, preparing to renew his contract. The current agreement expires in the summer of 2026, but the management is working to extend it until 2027, with the option of an additional year.

Furthermore, Inzaghi will benefit from a significant salary increase, reaching up to 7 million euros per season, a figure that with bonuses could exceed 10 million euros, making him the highest-paid coach in Serie A.

In this way, even if Inter ends the season without winning any trophies, the Inzaghi project remains intact. The statistics speak in his favor, since he took over Inter, Inzaghi has never suffered three consecutive defeats, an important record that confirms the stability of the team under his leadership, despite recent defeats against Bologna and Milan.

The renewal is expected to be formalized between July and August, before the start of the new season, guaranteeing calm in the black and blue environment and giving Inzaghi the opportunity to build an even more competitive team with more certainty.
