Friendlies against North Macedonia U-17, coach Bulku announces the list of 24 players

The Albanian U-17 national team will play two friendly matches against their peers from North Macedonia this month.

As it was announced earlier by the Communication Department of the AFL, the red and black team led by Albanian coach Ervin Bulku will play two friendlies on September 12 and 14. The federations have agreed that the first challenge will be played in Struga at 15:00, while the second meeting between the two representatives will take place at the "Elbasan Arena" stadium at 16:00.

Therefore, Ervin Bulku announced today the list of 24 players gathered for these matches, most of whom have been active and invited by the national team before.

10 of them play in foreign championships, being active with teams like Sampdoria, Lecce, Crystal Palace, Verona, etc., while the rest play in the Albanian championship.

The team led by Bulku starts this Thursday the preparations for these two very important matches, which are seen as a very important test on the eve of the 2023 European Championship qualifiers for this age group.

The technical staff of the U-17 national team will have the opportunity to see the state of the team and test these players who are expected to be the group that will represent Albania in the European qualifiers, where the national team has been drawn in the same group as Sweden. Croatia and Wales. The matches will take place in the form of a mini-tournament in Croatia in the month of October, namely on October 20, 23 and 26, 2022.
