Leverkusen wins with deep numbers, Benfica does not forgive in Serbia

Bayer Leverkusen seems to be back as scary as it was a season ago. "Aspirin" started their journey in the Champions League today and won with the deep numbers 0-4 against Feyenoord.

Florian Wirtz was in outstanding form, scoring twice on his Champions League debut.

The German star opened the match in the 5th minute, while finding the net in the 36th minute.

Grimaldo also found the goal in the 30th minute, while Wellenereuther caused an own goal at the end of the first half, to send the teams to the locker room with the score 0-4.

The second half produced no goals, with the Germans taking the first 3 points. In the next challenge, Benfica triumphed in Belgrade against the Serbs of Crvena Zvezda, with the result 1-2. The Portuguese scored twice in the first half with Akturkoglu in the 9th minute and Kokcu in the 29th minute. The only goal for the locals was scored by Ndiaye in the 86th minute.
