The transfer failed, the defender returns to Skënderbeu. He starts training

Randy Dwumfour can be called Skenderbeu's next reinforcement. The defender has returned to Kor?ari, after several months of absence.

The Ghanaian footballer will be part of the red and white team, at least for another season. Throughout the transfer window, Dwumfour was in negotiations to switch teams, but the move fell through for the second year in a row.

The 23-year-old was in talks with a Super League club in Saudi Arabia, but the agreement fell through and the player remained at Skanderbeg.

The footballer has returned to Korça and started training with the team, while he still has an active contract with Skenderbeu.

Although he has not been under the orders of the technical staff for some time, Dwumfour claims he is ready to take the field.

He has announced that he has trained differently during this period that he was in Ghana and feels in good shape.

However, coach Ivan Gvozdenovic is clear that the defender still needs time to catch his form and be ready.

"Wolves" have suffered a lot in the defense department this season and the return of Dwumfour is expected to help the team a lot, to return to positive results.

The start of the championship has been weak for the southeast, who hold the penultimate place in the standings with only one point accumulated in five games played.
