KF Elbasani has not melted, as the truth stands

This Wednesday, some media in the country have published a news about the merger of the historical club of Elbasan, winner of two Albanian championship titles, two Albanian Cups and a Super Cup.

The fan group "Ultras Tigrat Verdheblu" reacted immediately to this news, clarifying that Elbasan has simply been blocked by the Elbasan Tax Directorate for non-repayment of debts and lack of investments.

"After the publication of the 2022-2023 calendar of the Second Category, the media, portals and newspapers posted a news story talking about the merger of the historical team "KF ELBASANI 1913" and the loss of its trophies, which is not true.

As in the previous statement, we inform you that the "KF ELBASANI 1913" team is not dissolved, but BLOCKED by the Elbasan Tax Directorate. So, our historical Elbasan still has the history and the trophies, but they are blocked due to unpaid debts and lack of investment in it.

In the extract issued by the National Business Center you can read the information of the private team (Elbasani 1913) founded on 24.09.2020, i.e. the team with 2 years of creation and not the historical team of 1913.

The private team of (Elbasan 1913) with the year of creation "2020" is a merged team and not that of "KF ELBASAN" 1913.

Please stop spreading incorrect information and playing with the feelings of a city that loves sports and football.
