Chaos at the Serie A club, 100% of the shares are seized

The Guardia di Finanzia in Italy has seized 100% of the shares of Star Ball Srl, which also owns the Serie A club, Hellas Verona.

The insurance measure, GDF writes in its note, derives from the investigations carried out after the bankruptcy of a company "already the owner of the above-mentioned shares", related to an owner and suspected of bank fraud.

The investigations show that suspicious transactions of shares were carried out from the joint stock company to the Verona club and that in both it turns out to be the same entrepreneur, Maurizio Setti.

Meanwhile, through an official reaction, the Verona club emphasizes that the shares are not affected by this decision and that in this case it is only a matter between a company of president Setti and another company.
