An unexpected message has come from Fredy Guarin on his "Instagram" profile. The former Inter player posted a photo of himself with tears in his eyes and accompanied it with an emotional message.

Guarin has been without a team for a year after his personal problems forced him to end his career. "Il Drago" now lives in Bogotá, Colombia and has spoken openly about the difficulties he has gone through.

"Hello world, today I want to show myself as I am, with an open heart. I don't do it to cause pity or to increase my followers. I do it with the intention of serving at least one person", Guarin wrote. "In a short time my life is changing tremendously. These tears you see in the photo are of a man full of vices, mistakes, sins and many other things".

O my people, we have time to open the door to our father God and let him guide our soul and our heart… God has already forgiven me and I have forgiven myself.

This was Guarin's message, where his inner pain and remorse are clearly understood. Guarin has been an exceptional player, where in 2012 he was transferred from Porto to Inter and his performance immediately increased to become one of the best midfielders in Serie A.
