Inter do not want the departure, meeting with Inzaghi is planned

Simone Inzaghi has called discussion about his future inappropriate as Inter prepare for the Champions League final.

From Italy it is reported that a meeting with the directors will take place 48 hours after the final against PSG. A victory would help Inzaghi to continue, but even in case of failure, Inter are determined to keep him.

Inzaghi is seeking guarantees, as interest from Arab clubs is concrete. The club aims to renew his contract, which expires in 2026, while there will also be a salary increase.

Meanwhile, the transfer market has started with approaches like Susic and advanced talks with Luis Henrique and Bonini. Up to 40 million euros are expected for a new striker. Inter seem ready to build a more competitive team for the coming seasons, a sign to convince Inzaghi to stay.
