Spectacular Inter! Chivu's Blues explode with 5 goals

Inter started the new Serie A season with a landslide victory, defeating Torino 5-0 in Cristian Chivu's debut as coach.

Alessandro Bastoni opened the scoring in the 18th minute after a corner kick. Marcus Thuram doubled the lead in the first half, capitalising on a defensive error. Shortly after half-time, Lautaro Martínez scored the third goal after a misplaced pass from the visitors in the back.

Thuram scored the fourth goal, this time with a header, after a cross from Bastoni. In the end, Ange-Yoan Bonny sealed the score 5-0, after a move started by Lautaro.

This was Inter's biggest win over Torino since the 1958/59 season. The victory takes Inter to the top of the table after the first week.
