Pogradec and Lushnja share the points

The first week of the First Category brought a goalless draw between Pogradec and Lushnja. The match took place at the “Gjorgji Kyçyku” stadium, where the home team dominated for most of the game.

Pogradec created several clear scoring opportunities, even having a header blocked by the post on one occasion. However, a lack of precision deprived the Lakers of the goal.

On the other hand, Lushnja tried to take risks with counterattacks, but failed to concretize their actions. The second half did not bring any change in the score, ending the match at 0-0. This draw gives one point to both teams at the start of the championship.

Next week, Pogradec will play away against Iliria, while Lushnja hosts Skënderbeu in a difficult challenge at home.
