History/ The Albanian athlete qualifies for the semi-finals of the World Cup

The Albanian athlete, Franko Burraj, has achieved a great achievement in the World Championship that is being held in Scotland. The 25-year-old wrote history, qualifying for the semi-finals, becoming the first Albanian athlete to achieve this success.

Burraj competed in the 400 meters, while he was in the second qualifying battery. His time of 46.86 is considered the best result of the season for winter racing.

The Albanian was fourth in the second qualifying battery, while 5 competitors participated. In the general ranking, after completing four qualifying rounds, Burraj took eighth place among the 22 participants.

Today at 22:10, the semifinal competition will take place, where Burraj aims for the next success.
