Gvozdenovic: Some players have surprised me, for one week we decide everything

"Skënderbeu is 50% complete", this is the statement of the number one of the Korça bench, Ivan Gvzodenovi?, on the eve of the official start of the preparatory phase, which starts today.

The coach of Skënderbeu, in a statement given exclusively to "Panorama Sport", indicates that there have been many approaches from the club and some of them are still in the trial phase, while the final decision will be given by the red and white staff at the end of this month.

In conditions where the official approaches and some of the players under contract have not joined the team, the tests for the new approaches have been at the core of the training sessions since June 26.

"It's been more than a week that we've been working in the field and we're testing all the feeds we have so far in the team. I can say that at the moment we are talking of 24 players that are at my disposal, only 12 of them have a contract with us. The rest are still on trial. However, we have received good signals from some of them, and some have even surprised me, as we will continue to wait for their qualities until the end of the month.

From tomorrow (today) the preparatory phase will start and day by day the team will take shape, as the players who have signed the contract in this market space, but also those who have renewed from the last season, will approach. So the team will soon take shape. On July 10, I predict that we will be 85% complete. I say this, as we are still waiting for 4-5 approaches that will fill the empty spaces at Skenderbeu and give us more quality and options", stressed Skenderbeu's coach, Ivan Gvozdenovic.
