Bayern Munich has received a heavy blow from the last friendly against Duren. Hiroki Ito, who was approached this summer, has broken his right leg.

The Japanese started the match as a starter, but left the field after only 19 minutes of play. The defender felt pain and found it impossible to continue.

Medical analysis after the match revealed that Ito has suffered a fracture in his right leg and will be out of action for several weeks.

The 25-year-old joined Bayern in this summer's transfer window from German side Stuttgart, with whom he stood out last season.

The excellent performances attracted the attention of big clubs, with the Bavarians paying 30 million euros to acquire his services.

Ito's injury is a big blow for Bayern in their preparations for the new season. The player was expected to play a key role for coach Kompany.
