Nice gesture, Laporta wishes Gundogan's wife on her birthday...

In June, Barcelona announced the signing of Ilkay Gundogan until 2025, putting a huge release clause of €400 million on anyone who wants to buy him.

The German international, who left Manchester City after seven years, was introduced to Barcelona. President Laporta welcomed the footballer and his family.

The 33-year-old's wife, Sarah Gundogan, had a birthday and the Barcelona president had prepared a surprise cake for her to celebrate her 28th birthday.

She wanted to thank Laporta for his gesture. In particular, she posted on Instagram the photo from the presentation of her boyfriend and a video from the moment she blew out the candle on the cake.

"Thank you Barcelona for making us feel so welcome and thank you for the birthday surprise. Our new house", she wrote in the caption of the photo.
