Gimenez on the verge of leaving, alternatives for Milan's attack

Milan are preparing for another summer in search of a centre-forward, while the future of Santiago Gimenez remains uncertain.

The Mexican striker was not part of coach Massimiliano Allegri's plans, while Ruben Amorim does not consider him a priority for his project either. Among the names circulating for the offensive department are Gonçalo Ramos of PSG and Nicolas Jackson, who has returned to Chelsea after a loan at Bayern Munich. Gimenez, transferred to Milan in February 2025, has failed to find continuity due to injuries and inconsistent form.

He made 18 Serie A appearances last season without scoring a single goal. Milan aim to collect at least €20m from his sale to avoid financial losses on the balance sheet.

The player's limited World Cup activity, with just 37 minutes in the group stage, has not helped increase his market value. The Red and Blacks remain awaiting concrete offers to decide on the Mexican striker's future.
