The famous footballer announces his withdrawal from the national team

The European will be the last for Wojciech Szczesny, who has announced his retirement from the Polish national team.

In an interview, the Pole has shown that it is the right moment to leave the Poles, as more space should be left for new talents. Among other things, he emphasized that his cycle in the national team has ended.

"Yes, we can say that I will retire after 'Euro 2024'. Let me tell you, it can still be difficult to talk after the European Championship. No one is trying to convince me to change this decision and my family knows what his plans are and I think they know that this is the natural order of things.

There is no point in starting this new cycle of national teams, i.e. the preparation for the World Cup, if I don't finish it. In order to stay in the national team and to play some League of Nations matches, I think it is better to leave the task of preparing the new series to others", the Juventus goalkeeper declared.
