Albanian football in mourning, Shkodra legend passes away

Albanian football is in mourning as former national team and Vllaznia footballer Sabah Bizi passed away today at the age of 79. Bizi was a prominent figure in the Shkodran sports community, leaving many marks with the red and blue colors.

One of his most legendary matches that is always remembered is the one with the national team jersey in the challenge against Germany in the duel with Franz Beckenbauer. Bizi was also decorated with the title of "Honor of the Nation" in 2021, and after retiring from playing football he continued to remain part of the sports community.

Initially, he coached Veleçik and then Vllaznia for a short time, while later he also held the position of club secretary and youth coach at the red and blue team.
