Skënderbeu seeks qualification for the Albanian Cup, where they will face Vora. The last draw with Partizan in the championship has raised hopes among the Korça team.

On the eve of the Cup challenge, Skënderbeu coach Ernest Gjoka focused on the previous challenge, where according to him, the southeastern team could have won against Partizan if they had scored the equalizer earlier.

The red-white coach appeared happy with the reaction his team showed in the second half in the capital.  

"The match with Partizan was difficult. It was a match against a strong team, despite the fact that Partizan lost several champions. For me it was very important. The best would have been if we had won, but the problems we continue to have, we make mistakes and we will learn from our mistakes. I think the team reacted well and we showed that the character and desire to achieve results continue to exist in the team. We are trying to give our best and get the most. The reactions in the second half were positive. If we had scored earlier, they could have won the match. I say this about the team's chances in the second half. The team has desire."

Gjoka stated that Skënderbeg's goal is to go as far as possible in the Albanian Cup and for this reason, qualification will be demanded from Vora at all costs. The coach said that the Korça team will fight on two fronts, the championship and the Cup.

"We want to go as far as possible in the Cup. It will be a very strong match from us, with specifics to pass this round. I know how good the conditions in Bilisht can be, but we will do our best to pass. The players know the club's objectives and we will fight on two fronts."

The Skënderbeu-Vora match will be played at the Devoll Stadium, on Wednesday, starting at 1:00 PM.
