The photo with Putin's military supporter Bernard Berisha ends up in the center of criticism

A post on social networks has returned the former midfielder of Skënderbeu, Bernard Berisha, to the center of attention. The Kosovar footballer has posted on social networks a photo with Ramzan Kadyrov, the president of his club, Akhmat Grozni.

But the timing was very inconvenient considering that Chechen leader Kadyrov is one of Vladimir Putin's most ardent military supporters.

The "Kadyrovites" are the Chechen special forces who have been very active in the bloodiest fights in Ukraine, and as a result, Berisha's post has caused a lot of commotion among fans in Kosovo and beyond.

The footballer joined Akhmat Grozny in 2017 and has a contract until 2023 with the club where he is considered an indisputable leader. In recent years, he has been one of the favorite players of the Chechen leader, who gave a car to Berisha when the latter scored a goal and was declared the player of the match in the Russian championship.
