The victory with Kukës is not enough/ Refik Halili bursts into criticism: Overrated players

His team won by reversal, 3-2 against Kukës on Thursday evening, but the president of Tirana, Refik Halili, did not spare the criticism towards his players. According to him, they are overrated and should reflect.

"I expected the team to do something better than it did. The most important thing for us today was the victory, the three points. I was confident that the team would get the victory today, but the way we played put us in great difficulty", stated the president of the white and blue team.

Reflecting on the team's performance, President Halili has not spared criticism for the players.

"I hope that the team from day to day will make the difference and it should, because they are a very good contingent of players with names. Everyone knows what their name is, and for the name they have, they should give more than they deserve, because I think they are the most financially valued football players in the Albanian championship. This is indisputable because we know very well what finances are paid".

For this reason, his appeal is clear and simple.

"I have told them and I tell them again: footballers are overrated. In terms of the game to please us, to get positive results, they are far from what we expected at the beginning of the championship and we continue to wait".
