The Albanian girls' national team will play in the month of October against Norway in the first round play-off matches, valid for the European Championship for girls "Switzerland 2025".

After the draw by UEFA a few days ago, the Albanian Football Federation has already reached an agreement with the Norwegian Football Federation on the dates when these two matches will be played.

The first meeting will be played in Albania, on October 25, 2024, as the place and time will be determined in the following days. Four days later, on October 29, the red and black girls will travel to Oslo to play the second match against Norway. For this meeting as well, the place and time will be determined later.

In the event that the red and black team successfully overcomes Norway, in the second round of the play-off they will face the winner of the pair Croatia - Northern Ireland.

The Albanian girls' representative went to the first round of the play-offs after success in the qualifying matches, where the red and black girls dominated and ranked first in group C5 with 9 points in total. Under the guidance of coach Armir Grima, the nation recorded three wins and one loss and thanks to this success, Albania's girls secured promotion to League B in the next edition of the UEFA Nations League./FSHF
