Suspected of rigging the match, the Albanian club expels the goalkeeper

Doubts about tricks continue to be present in Kosovo football. The Second League club, KF Rilindja 1974, has dismissed goalkeeper Armend Ruxhi.

According to the club's announcement, it is suspected that Ruxhi rigged the match against Drenica. They have even called on the FFK to start investigations related to the case.

"After the last match of the fourth round between KF Rilindja 1974 and KF Drenica, and after a detailed analysis of the video recordings and the course of the match, KF Rilindja 1974 has decided to suspend our goalkeeper, Armend Ruxhi, for an indefinite period of time until the clarification of the full of raised doubts.

We ask the competent bodies of the Kosovar Football Federation and justice to investigate this case as soon as possible, i.e. the engagement of our goalkeeper during this match", the club's announcement states.
