Director Fulvio Pea explains the new season's innovations

For the next season, the AFF will maintain the same technical structure in the important activity taking place in the Regional Centers and in the TDS project.
The AFF Technical Director, Fulvio Pea, has given a statement to fshf.org, where he spoke about the innovations of this season and introduced the new names that have become part of the technical staff.

"Next year, the Regional Centers will also have two teams, one from 2013 and a new team from 2014. The selection will be made in September by our age-group coaches who will follow the selections and choose the 23 best players for the 2013 and 2014 categories for each Regional Center" - said Mr. Pea.

"About 95% of the coaches have been confirmed again for the excellent work done by our Technical Coordinator, Erjon Stavri, but also for the commitment and professionalism shown by the 8 Technical Directors of the Centers, as well as for the excellent work done by the coaches, who have followed the AFF's work methodology. They have received the proposal to continue this season as well" - confirmed the AFF Technical Trainer.

"In the coming season, there will be 2 goalkeeper coaches, coordinated by Erion Meta, head of the goalkeeper sector: for the northern zone, Baholli, and for the southern zone, Halilaj, who, together with Erjon Stavri, will attend the teams' training sessions every Monday. We know very well that the role of the goalkeeper is very specific, so we have thought of increasing monitoring, both for the coaches and for the players. Therefore, in each Regional Center, every Monday we will conduct a visit that will allow us to monitor each child from a technical and growth point of view" - he added further.

"Within the activities of the Regional Centers we have the TDS project. Next year we have a novelty, actually two. First, we have added a new figure, Cyme Lulaj, in the role of Technical Coordinator, following the instructions of Erjon Stavri, so every Monday he will go to every city and Regional Center to attend the trainings" - explained Fulvio Pea.

"The second innovation is that next year, for the first time, all eight Regional Centers will form a team. This is a beautiful innovation that makes us proud. Apart from Tirana, which has a larger number of inhabitants than other cities, the other cities will have 2 teams: one team for 2012/13 and one team for 2014" - he concluded.
