Will play in the fiery stadium, Cavani leaves Europe after 15 years

Edinson Cavani will leave European football. The well-known Uruguayan striker has chosen to say "yes" to Boca Juniors' offer, rejecting the transfer to Unai Emery's Villareal.

The Argentinian Ole reports that "El Matador" has reached an agreement with the famous Latin club and on Monday he will be in Buenos Aires to perform medical tests and sign the contract.

The goal scorer has given his word to Juan Riquelemes, the vice president and legend of Boca Juniors, that he will play in the legendary "Bombonera".

The Uruguayan wants a one-year contract with an option to leave next summer, while Boca insist on a deal until the end of 2023.

A no-brainer, Cavani is set to sign with the Argentinian club as Boca's fervent fans prepare to give him a rousing welcome.

Cavani thus leaves the old continent after 15 years. He played in Europe with teams like Palermo, Napoli, PSG and Manchester United.
