Cassano: Neither Vlahovic nor Lukaku are the two most in-form strikers in Serie A

The former Italian footballer, Antonio Cassano continues to remain active with his statements.

In a recent statement, he spoke about various topics related to the Serie A championship.

For Cassano, the striker of Inter, Lautaro Martinez is the best player of the Italian championship.

"Lautaro is a world-class player, he deserves to be included in the top 5 of the Ballon d'Or. I am happy for him, congratulations," he said first.

Furthermore, the 42-year-old emphasized that according to him, after Lautaro, the second best player in Serie A is Atalanta striker Mateo Retegui.

"With the exception of Lautaro, in Italy it is Retegui. Retegui is much stronger than Vlahovic, Lukaku, Dovbyk and everyone else there. Morata is different, Thuram is different. However, Retegui can still improve in many things"- Cassano stated among other things.
