Robert Lewandowski has become the third-highest goalscorer of all time in Europe's top leagues, equaling Tottenham legend Jimmy Greaves.  

The Polish striker scored two goals in Barcelona's 5-1 win over Sevilla at La Lia and reached the quota of 73 goals with the Catalans, but at the same time 366 goals in his entire career in the main championships of the old continent.

So Robert Lewandowski joins Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Jimmy Greaves on the podium of the best scorers in history.

Lionel Messi ended his career in Europe with 496 goals, while Cristiano Ronaldo ended it with 495 goals.

Meanwhile, Robert Lewandowski currently ranks third alongside Jimmy Greaves, with 366 goals.

Although the chances of the Pole, who turned 36 in August, reaching the double are slim, he can reach the quota of 400 goals by the end of the season and keep the third place on the podium alone./ CNA
