Left-wing candidate Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva is running against Jair Bolsonaro, who is currently seeking re-election as Brazil's president. Bolsonaro's supporters want the yellow jersey as a sign of support, while those of Lula prefer blue.

In Brazil, such revolts have also resulted in deaths as the irritation of the people is great. Lula says that the shirt should be a symbol of unity and not division, while Bolsonaro, on the other hand, is careful to wear them in public.
