Albanian football in mourning, the icon of Partizan's goal passes away

A sad news has been learned today. Sulejman Maliqati, the icon of the Albanian gate, has passed away at the age of 94. Maliqati will be escorted to the last apartment on Thursday, October.

It is learned that the cause of death of the Albanian legend is a fall that brought him serious injuries. Despite the care of the doctors, he could not cope with the injuries and did not survive. Maliqati is known by everyone with the nickname "Black Cat", the hero of Leipzig, the safe defender of Partizan's goal and the Albanian national team in the period 1950-1964.

In the past, he has been honored with the titles "Honored Master of Sports", "Honour of the Nation", as he has been an exemplary football player and coach.
