Dramatic draw from City, Arsenal suffer at the end

The superchallenge of the fifth week in the Premier League, between Manchester City and Arsenal, did not produce a winner, which ended in a 2-2 draw.

It was a spectacular match and fought until the end, with the locals avoiding defeat only in the 98th minute, while the "gunners" played with 10 players for the entire second half.

The challenge started with great excitement from the start when Erlind Haaland put City ahead in the 9th minute, causing celebrations to erupt in the stadium. The Norwegian striker, alone with the goalkeeper Raja, had no difficulty scoring.

However, in the 22nd minute, the friends equalized, thanks to a supergoal scored by Kalafiori. The Italian defender fired a shot from outside the area, leaving no opportunity for goalkeeper Ederson to react.  

Arsenal made it 2-1 in the 46th minute after a Gabriel header. The Brazilian flew over everyone to win the aerial duel and score the advantage goal for the Londoners.

A few seconds before the end of the first half, Arteta's team remained with 10 players, after Trossard was punished with a red card. The striker caused a foul on Bernardo Silva and received the second yellow card, leaving his team in numerical inferiority.

The second part of the game, everyone spoke about the locals, who had a hard time breaking the "wall" of Arsenal.

City equalized only in the 98th minute, when Stones took advantage of a ball left in the area to send it into the net. Huge disappointment for Arsenal, who saw victory slip from their grasp seconds before the final whistle.

After this draw, Manchester City holds the lead with 13 points, while Arsenal ranks fourth with 11 points.
