Altin Lala: Skenderbeu showed that everything can be achieved in football

The former captain of the national team, Altin Lala, was present at the moment of the draw for the Albanian championship. After the match, he spoke to the media analyzing the Albanian championship and the National Team.

"Albanian football has made strides in infrastructure and there are players who have made strides in Europe. The Albanian championship helps the players to make great strides in Europe. I follow it constantly and I can say that the steps are good and satisfied.

Building new stadiums? The stadiums are fantastic and for a country like ours which is small. I was obsessed when Duka invited us all and I was jealous, I would like to be in Air Albania and play. The stadiums are very good and from what I heard there are new projects.

Return to Albania? Each of us who played, loved football and we want to help and develop football. I am open and happy about the infrastructure and development, and I wish that the National Team will also be in the European Championship.

Albanian teams in Europe? Tirana did very well in a difficult match in Georgia. I hope he passes the next round as Partizan. If Partizan had more courage, they would pass the first match, but when the championship gets stronger, the teams prepare more. Skënderbeu has shown that it is possible and I hope that Tirana and Partizani move to the groups.

The national team? We have many chances, there are no easy matches, but Poland and the Czech Republic must be passed with points. Then the games with the Faroe Islands and others have to be done homework and in September there will be some orientation to some extent. It would be a great achievement given that the European will be in Germany", said Lala.
