2022, the year of records/ 35 clubs changed owners, among them two Albanian teams

The year 2022 can be considered the year of records for the change of owners of important clubs. UEFA, in a report published a few days ago, announces all the clubs that have changed owners during the past year.

There are a total of 35 clubs with new owners, including two Albanian teams. Vllaznia and Skopje have been bought by new owners. Shkodran was bought in February 2022 by Alban Xhaferi, while the Skopje team was bought by a Turk.

Of course, the list of purchased clubs includes Milan, Chelsea, Atalanta, Southampton, Olympic Lyon, Vitese, Hertha Berlin or Dinamo Moscow and many other teams. The year we left behind broke the record of 2021, where 30 clubs were bought, 5 less than 2022.
