Organizata Botërore Meteorologjike jep alarmin/ Deri kur do të zgjasin temperaturat ekstreme

Organizata Botërore Meteorologjike (WMO) njoftoi sot se temperaturat e larta pritet të vazhdojnë gjatë gjithë gushtit në shumë vende të botës.

Këshilltari i WMO për nxehtësinë ekstreme John Nairn tha për Reuters se tempeeraturat e larta do të jenë më të shpeshta. 

Sipas Nairn shkak i valës së të nxehtit janë ndryshmet klimatike.

Organizata Botërore Meteorologjike tha më herët se gjatë kësaj jave temperaturat në disa pjesë të Amerikës së Veriut, Azisë, Afrikës Veriore dhe Mesdheut pritet të jenë mbi 40 gradë Celsius për disa ditë.

Evropa jugore u godit nga temperatura të larta rekord gjatë pikut të sezonit turistik veror, dhe temperatura ekstreme regjistrohen gjithashtu nga verilindja e SHBA-së përmes Kalifornisë në jugperëndim dhe në jug.
