"Mokra n'Fest"/ The first night of the traditional cake and toast

The first night of the party, "Mokra n'Fest" brought together hundreds of citizens from different cities of Albania, but not only to celebrate with dance and toast as is the tradition. The party started this Friday evening with a festive concert in the village of Potkozhan, the birthplace of the Zografi brothers and the birthplace of the patriot Maro Mokra Potkozhani.  

This is an area known for natural and cultural monuments that promise a tourist potential. The main focus of this celebration is the promotion of this area, so it is supposed to take place near the Church of Saint Bitri, which belongs to the year 1159, and in the background the mountain of Kozici, another natural attraction of the Upper Mokra area.

The Mokra festival also highlights the housewives or artisans of the area. In addition to the celebration, they bring out for exhibition and trade the products they get from their daily work in the village. Traditional foods, handicrafts, double noodle cabbage, kulachi and brandy toasts decorated the celebration.

The first night of this holiday is accompanied by outdoor camping, a live concert, a stand-up comedy with actor Xhevair Zenelin and a natural cinema with films shot in Pogradec e Mokre. Meanwhile, the songs of the traditional waves have not been missing, as have the foods of the area. "Mokra n'Fest" will continue on Saturday with a series of activities during the day to continue until the evening with other invited artists / CNA
