The Mayor of Gramsh, Besian Ajazi, has given a statement to the media regarding the kindergarten case where several children were poisoned with salmonella.

Ajazi said that it was not a catering company, but the food was cooked in the garden.

Further, the mayor of Gramsh stated that there are not 72 children hospitalized, but only 6, who stayed for a few hours and then went home.

" Children from the same kindergarten, this prompted an alert from our institution. We are not dealing with 72 hospitalized children. We are not dealing with food poisoning because we do not yet have food analyses. Several cases of salmonella have been identified in a public kindergarten.
