"We wish the new hierarch many blessed years of service"/ The

Metropolitan of Kiev and All Ukraine, Epiphanius, congratulated His Beatitude, Archbishop of Tirana, Durrës and All Albania, Joan.

In the message sent, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church wishes His Beatitude Ioannis many blessed years at the head of the Albanian Orthodox Church.

" Today, on the Second Sunday of Great Lent, the Holy Synod of the Autocephalous Church of Albania elected the new primate, Archbishop Joani.

We sincerely congratulate His Beatitude, Archbishop of Tirana and All Albania, Metropolitan of Tirana-Durres-Elbasan, Joan, on behalf of myself and the entirety of our sister Orthodox Church of Ukraine, and wish the new hierarch many blessed years of service on this holy throne to his native people, the Orthodox Church, of the fullness!
