The Minister of Agriculture, Frida Krifca, has presented several types of Albanian wines in Japan in a meeting with the National Association of Sommeliers.

Through a post on social networks, Krifca writes that the world is appreciating the quality and variety of indigenous Albanian wine.

“Sikurse konstatoi dhe revista prestigjoze e verës, Decanter, Shqipëria është diamant i pazbuluar i varieteteve autoktone. Me investimet në standartet e vreshtave dhe teknologjive të reja, rregullimin e kuadrit ligjor dhe të gjithë zhvillimet cilësore që kanë ndodhur në sektorin e verës shqiptare, sot jemi gati për ta prezantuar verën shqiptare gjerësisht në botë dhe këtë po bëjmë me fokus.

We organized with the National Association of Sommeliers of Japan, representatives of our wine producers, a professional tasting among dozens of professional sommeliers of different Albanian wine labels. I was very pleased that the world is appreciating the quality and characteristics of the territory of Albanian wines, simultaneously opening the way for the export of wine to the large Japanese market. Therefore, we will develop activities like this in other important and potential markets.
