Violence, the wild enemy/ Consequences for children

When a mother or father, as well as grandparents, slap or even worse, beat a child for the mistakes he makes, they, the parents, the grandparents, convey to the child their contempt for the child.

It is true that they do not intend this, but their action conveys this.

Violence has at its core contempt for life and others. The child is immature and does not have many mechanisms to withstand such an experience of violence from those who should protect and love him.

When we hit a child in the body, for the child it is to destroy his whole body-soul. In these cases, the child physically suffers from the pain of the impact, which scares him a lot, while psycho-emotionally he becomes a worthless "thing" for himself.

An abused child feels very bad, because he does not understand why adults abuse him. He's trying to do like them, or he needs a little help from them to calm down.

However, adults do not have "time", "nerve" and "patience" and they fall short, they hit the child, without thinking about what the child gains from their behavior.

The child thinks that if the parent or grandparents were good, they would not treat him like that, and this is where the low level of self-esteem or the violent character that is commonly found in adults originates.
