Officialized the coalition with Patoz for May 14/ Shehi: Here is the goal

The chairman of LZHK, Dashamir Shehi, and the head of Democratic Persuasion, Astrit Patozi, on Friday formalized the agreement for the joint competition in the May 14 local elections.

Invited to the studio of Euronews Albania Shehi said that the objective of their coalition is that every vote against the government goes to the opposition candidate, if he is the only one.

According to Shehi, the purpose of their separate competition is with the intention that those votes which are against Ilir Meta and Sali Berisha go to the opposition.

"We will do our best so that every possible vote goes to the opposition, even the votes of those who do not like Meta or Berisha. I wish that the candidates are alone, so that they don't make a mess in the people. If two came out, let three or four come out, then. We will go to support them, but we will also support our alternative idea within the opposition. Always in the fumction of the war against the Socialist Party and Edi Rama. Anyone who is not in battle with Edi Rama has no place in the Albanian opposition. For us this is the common thread, this is where the stories are shared. Then what we do in our backyard, that's our topic. I think the time has come to open the discussion of what is good or bad", said Shehi.
