In 2006, socialists blocked the floor of the Assembly, attacked Speaker Jozefina Topalli, and none of them were expelled.

We currently have a similar situation, where the place of the socialists has been taken by the democrats by blocking the pulpit.

But there is one detail that makes the difference between these two situations.

The Democrats who were in power in 2006 did not exclude the Socialists.

While today, the socialists who are in power, but they are depriving the Assembly hall of the democrats, excluding them one after the other.

Furthermore, the head of the socialist parliamentary group, Taulant Balla, has justified today the situation of 2006.

According to him, they had the right to block the pulpit and unplug the microphones, create chaos and even demand that the vote be secret.
