The head of the CEC, Ilirjan Celibashi, has given details about the registration and deadlines that must be followed by Albanian immigrants who want to vote in the 2025 elections.

During a television interview, Celibashi announced that the Albanian state will pay the cost of sending the ballot and election materials, and the return will be made with the costs paid by the voter.

He emphasized that Albanian immigrants have almost 60 days to register as voters.

"The Albanian state will pay the costs for sending the ballot and election materials and the return will be made with costs paid by the voter.

If someone, without reason, does not find himself on that list, he has the right to appeal to the court of the judicial district in Tirana and has a deadline of 7 days to appeal, before the date of the elections.

Any court decision cannot be later than 5 days before the election date.

120 days before the date of the elections, they have almost 60 days to register", said Celibashi./ CNA
