Lawyer Genci Gjokutaj has reacted to the decision of the Court of Rome, which said that immigrants sheltered in Albania should be returned to Italy.

Gjokutaj writes on social networks that this decision confirms the signing of the agreement for pure electoral interests and not for solving the issue of immigrants.

He casts doubt on the independence of the Constitutional Court, which declared the agreement legal.

Full statement:

The Court of Rome today, based on the decision of the European Court in Luxembourg, dismissed the Rama-Meloni agreement as illegal and ordered the return of the Gjadri immigrants to Italy!

This fact proves clearly and unequivocally that this agreement is related to the pure electoral interests of the Rama - Meloni couple and not to a legal solution to the issue of immigrants!

Meanwhile, our Constitutional Court has declared this Agreement legal according to Rama's political order!

This constitutes a legal scandal of the Albanian GJK and proves beyond any doubt its capture by Rama and the majority in power!

The Italian opposition has turned to Brussels asking for measures to be taken against the Italian Government!

How will the Albanian government do it?

But can the Constitutional Judges judge anymore and can they have credibility in giving the standard justice that they themselves mention in every decision?

What about the Assembly of Albania that voted for it?

Only the departure of Rama, the Technical Government and the political rotation can end this anti-Albanian and illegal stupidity and humiliation!/ CNA
