Murrizi Tunnel/ Balluku: It will be opened in March 2025

The Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, has performed the last inspection of the Murrizi Tunnel, giving the news that it will be finally opened in March 2025.

Balluku added that the government has not paid any extra penny for the financial bill and that the contractual conditions have been fulfilled within the deadlines.

"The point is that we are dealing with a complex tunnel and it must be completed in all its details. On the right is the emergency tunnel, since the emergency tunnel is under construction, it will be opened when it is ready.

Since it has been a public debate is the last inspection in this tunnel, the contract is turnkey. The state has not added a penny. It is the same financial bill. Arbri street work has been abused a lot. However, it is important that the words are blown away and the work remains.

The contractual conditions this time are within the deadlines.
