Prime Minister Edi Rama spoke about the process of integration into the European Union at the last conference with journalists.

During his speech, he emphasized that this is a result of the hard work of his administration. 

On the other hand, Rama said that after 29 years, Albania has come out of the phase of full monitoring of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and from today until 2027 we will receive about 1 billion euros.

"The opening of negotiations for membership in the EU, practically of two very important groups, starting from the basic ones, which are the group of groups and then the relations with the outside world.

It is important to emphasize here something that you have heard, that this extraordinary process in terms of volume of work, intensity and quality would have been impossible if a large national team of Albania, with hundreds and hundreds of administration employees, had not done previously excellent job with screening.

After 29 years, Albania has left the phase of full monitoring of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. We are no longer a country under full surveillance. From today until 2027 we will receive about 1 billion euros."
