The political leader of the PD for Tirana, Belind Kelliçi, reacted after the statements of Prime Minister Edi Rama regarding the investigation against Erion Veliajn, where he stated that his family is being violated because of the public trial that is being held against him and not by the institutions.

In his reaction, Kelliçi brought up the case of the late Ardit Gjoklaj, who lost his life in the Sharra landfill while he was providing a living for himself and his family.

Kelliçi writes that Velaij's malice and the presta names of Tirana's ghost incinerator not only quickly covered up the murder, but turned the Sharra landfill from a crime scene where a young man had lost his life into the biggest scene of financial crime in Balkans and Europe.  

Kelliçi has emphasized that victimization will not save Veliaj or the others responsible for the murder of Ardi Gjoklaj.

The late Ardit Gjoklaj, who lost his life in the landfill of Sharra, was a 17-year-old minor who worked in the black to ensure his livelihood.
