Kreshnik Spahiu stated that a week before the arrest of the former president of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, he asked him to resign.

While commenting on the tensions in the north of Kosovo and criticizing Prime Minister Albin Kurti, he said that he was in favor of the Vetëvendosje Movement.

"What would Albin Kurti do if he was in the opposition?

Today, the parliament of Kosovo would be in smoke and flames. We must judge coolly and professionally at every step. They judge differently about the prime minister, differently about the leader of the opposition.

And I say this because I have a moral right to say it. A week before Hashin Thaçi was arrested, I told him to resign because he will be arrested.
