The Minister of State for Relations with the Parliament, Elisa Spiropali, has spoken about the violence against the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha.

Spiropali said from the pulpit that he felt sorry for the scene of the December 6 protest, but described him as the politician who cultivated violence.

"I felt sorry for you, Mr. Berisha. I wouldn't want to see that scene, that blood of yours, I wouldn't want to see it on summit day, I wouldn't want to see it any other day of the year. I know many of you have mentioned the past the day it happened. They described you as the politician who used violence. Unfortunately, you proved today that you are a politician who has cultivated violence, you have hit many people", she said.

But the minister's statement caused tension in the Assembly.

The opposition MPs were irritated and stood up, where they opposed Spiropalin./ BA - CNA.al
